Assessment

“Assessment for Learning” By Micheal Rystad

I chose this video because of its direct delivery of information. It covers many important aspects of assessments, like feed forward, and the importance of student assessments for the instructor’s own feedback, then the instructor can plan and adjust to meet student’s needs in the next class.

This video gave me great ideas on activities I can incorporate into my classroom. One example is the exit tickets, ending class with an evaluative question. I would also like to incorporate the feedback idea, 2 stars and one wish, always reinforcing what we are aiming for, a positive classroom environment.
